Nursing Program

With the unprecedented growth of the medical sector, the need for good nurses is ever increasing. NGMC has been providing two courses under its nursing program:

PCL Nursing:

Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) is a nursing course affiliated to CTEVT. This course was initially offered by the Nursing Education Institute, under the Lord Buddha Education Academy Ltd. The course, which was launched in 2057 BS, has been continued by the succeeding NGMC. It is taught in NGMC’s Kohalpur Campus.

The curriculum of PCL (Staff nurse) program can be summarized as:

1st year

BSc Nursing:

As a part of NGMC’s aim of producing high quality human resources for the medical sector, it decided to incorporate the BSc Nursing course in its Nursing education project in 2075 BS. This undergraduate course in Nursing, which is affiliated to Kathmandu University, is offered at Kohalpur Campus of the college.

Internship

After the completion of the course, students are required to practice nursing in the institution for a given period of time.
