The Student Affairs, SA, office at NGMC provides a variety of services and programs to support students' personal, social and academic development under the guidance and monitoring of the principal’s office. These services include counseling, student engagement, diversity and inclusion, academic support, career guidance, student conduct, student health services, residence life and orientation programs. The office is committed to promoting student well-being, diversity, and inclusivity, and works closely with faculty members and students to create a supportive and inclusive campus environment. The SA office, in conjunction with the management, helps students succeed academically, personally and professionally and prepares them for future success.

The Student Welfare Committees (SWC) at NGMC play a pivotal role in fostering student well-being and managing various facets of student life. These encompass offering academic assistance, promoting mental health and overall wellness, organizing social activities, overseeing the annual publication of the magazine "Spandan," and providing guidance in collaboration with the college's management. This committee serves as a platform for students to express their ideas and recommendations, collaborating closely with faculty and administration to implement initiatives that enrich the student experience. Besides, the SWC addresses issues pertaining to student safety, encourages gender sensitivity, and promotes diversity and inclusion within the institution. They work in tandem with student representatives and clubs to cultivate a vibrant campus community that celebrates diversity and upholds principles of equality. Post Graduate (PG) programs offered by NGMC are also affiliated to Kathmandu University. PG Programs in Basic and Clinical services are available at NGMC. The duration of both Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) courses is 3 years, which starts in the month of Feb/March every year.
